Who doesn’t love a good bow-tie! Federico, one of our Florentine friends, just launched his über cool denim bow-tie collection called UNTITLED. George took these photos of me and we had to turn our bedroom into a photographic studio for about a week with this massive black backdrop that George sticky-taped to the wall.

With this crazy temperamental weather (Last Saturday was 31° followed by a chilly 16° on Sunday!) it’s very hard to dress, too hot for a trench, too cold for a leather jacket. I just end up putting on a lot of layers in the morning and then slowly peeling off to the bare essentials by lunch time. The Coatigan is the perfect option, the warmth of a coat and the weight of a cardigan, I came across this Max&Co leopard print one the other day and it’s perfect for this crazy season!

When I heard that Bottega Veneta was releasing their first perfume I felt a little bird of excitement, if their perfume was anything like their refined feminine clothing and executed under the watchful eyes of creative director Tomas Maier, I was sure it was going to be something amazing. I have a secret obsession with fragrances and I’ve been searching for the one perfect scent probably since I was about 15yrs. Some lovely friends gifted me the Bottega Veneta perfume and I left it inside the powdery pink packaging for a really long before finally opening it. I had a little moment the first time I sprayed it, a sensual luxurious couple of seconds, it’s pure heaven in a bottle. Unfortunately I haven’t had the same effect since, probably because I’ve been using it so sparingly, the way you do when you’re in love with a perfume and it’s too precious to use. Have you been lucky enough to find signature scent?
