When I walked into House of Ezis in Brisbane last week, I loved the whole collection immediately. The sculptured forms and prints are exquisite and you can really see some intelligent themes emerge in the collection. Andrzej K Pytel the brains behind the brand is an extremely advanced Australian, fashion desiger/architect/interior designer/artist he’s an absolute creative force! Andrzej explains “The current collection focuses on the dynamics of human behavioral patterns, which are transferred and captured within folds of fabric. This avoids language-based themes including; memories, stereotypes and symbols. I believe that these ‘words’ place limits on the unpredictable nature of active spontaneity.” Deep! I also got the chance to interview Andrzej at his studio, so there’s more House of Ezis to come.
